Integrative Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a truly holistic therapy that looks at you as a whole person rather than focusing on a single symptom or condition. Integrative Kinesiology takes this a step further, bringing together my training, experience and different areas of knowledge to create a more complete approach to your wellbeing.

I use gentle manual muscle testing as a form of biofeedback to explore how your body is responding to different stresses and identify areas that may need support. There are 42 muscles that can be used during a balance, each providing valuable information and helping to build a picture of what may be influencing how you feel.

My integrative approach means that I can draw on my wider skills and experience alongside kinesiology, considering the physical, emotional, nutritional, energetic and lifestyle factors that may be affecting your wellbeing. Rather than following a set formula, I bring these different perspectives together to create a session that is genuinely tailored to you.

What can Integrative Kinesiology help with?

People seek kinesiology for a wide variety of reasons. You may be experiencing digestive concerns, IBS, stress, anxiety, low mood, fatigue, food sensitivities, hormonal changes, muscle aches and pains, or simply have a sense that something isn't quite right.

Sometimes there is a specific issue you want to explore. Sometimes you just know that you don't feel like yourself. By looking at the bigger picture, we can explore the different factors that may be contributing to how you feel, rather than viewing each symptom in isolation.

Often our bodies have been coping with different stresses for some time before we really notice that something has changed. An integrative approach gives us the opportunity to slow things down, look at the layers involved and consider what your body may need now.

What happens in a session?

Every session starts with you. We'll talk about what's going on, what you'd like support with and what feels important to you at that point in your life.
I then use manual muscle testing and other kinesiology techniques to explore the areas that are most relevant to you. We can then explore muscle testing, techniques and coaching, depending on what comes up as a priority during your session, every session is different.

From there, I can bring together the different aspects of my knowledge and experience to help make sense of what we're finding. This might include looking at physical, emotional, nutritional, energetic or lifestyle factors and the ways they may be connected.

The aim is to give you a clearer picture of what's going on, identify the areas that may need attention and, importantly, help you work out what you can actually do about it. You'll leave with practical recommendations and ideas that you can take away and use in everyday life.

My approach is always enthusiastic, collaborative and very much about finding what works for you. I want you to leave feeling lighter, clearer and more positive, with a better understanding of your body and some realistic steps you can take to support your wellbeing.
